Strange to be in a f...I was in Dublin without a TV. Strange to be in a foreign country that literally shut down for two days as a mark of respect for the USA and the victims and survivors. I pounded the pavement for some food and found not a single store, retaurant, shop open in all of Dublin. Sure it could have been an excuse for a day off but to me, it was shocking how uniform and unequivocal the statement of support was. It felt exceptionally peaceful that morning, so much that I clearly noted it.
